7 Days Wildebeest Migration Mara River Crossing

Aftrer breakfast, depart from Arusha for Central Serengeti (Seronera). After lunch, head out for an introductory game drive in Central Serengeti. Later in the evening, drive to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart your camp for a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti. On this day, we will follow the great wildebeest migration. Apart from the herds of wildebeest, central Serengeti is also an ideal place to view other grazers and predators.

Enjoy a picnic lunch around mid-day; in the afternoon, we will drive to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende).

On this day, you will go on a full-day game drive. You will view the great migration in North Serengeti along the Mara River.

The main attraction in this area is the sight of wildebeests crossing the Mara River. Please note that sometimes it is hard to witness a river crossing; it is often a matter of luck. The river crossing of thousands of wildebeest and zebra is a breathtaking spectacle of nature. The wildebeest must brave a fast-flowing wild river and gigantic crocodiles waiting to feast on them.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush; in the evening, we will drive you to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart camp for a morning game drive along the Mara river – you may see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and even the endangered black rhino; if you are lucky. After lunch, proceed with game viewing en route to central Serengeti.

Arrive in Central Serengeti in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at your camp.

After breakfast, depart camp for a final game drive in Central Serengeti. After lunch, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater with more game viewing on the way. Arrive in Ngorongoro in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge on the crater rim.

After breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro crater floor for a full-day game drive. Ngorongoro is home to approximately 30,000 animals giving you the best chance of spotting the big five -lions, elephants, the endangered black rhino, buffalos, leopards, and countless other African grazers and predators.

After lunch, head back to the crater floor for more game viewing until late in the evening, then drive to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro for the enchanting Lake Manyara National Park and enjoy a half-day game drive. Lake Manyara is famous for tree-climbing lions, occasionally seen along branches of acacia trees, and thousands of lesser flamingos. Other animals include buffalo, elephants, leopards, baboons, impalas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, ostriches, hippos, and over 400 bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch, and then later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha to catch your flight home.
