Experience three of the most visited parks in Tanzania – Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. On this trip, you will have the opportunity to see tree-climbing lions, herds of elephants, and so much more.
Depart Arusha in the morning for Tarangire National park. Tarangire is home to some of Tanzania’s best wildlife, including large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and buffalos.
At noon, enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back for more game viewing. Late in the afternoon, you will drive out of the park for dinner and overnight accommodation at a camp or lodge around Tarangire.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner.
After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater. After registration at the gate, drive to the crater viewpoint-you will make a brief stop to observe the Ngorongoro crater from above before descending 600 meters into the crater floor for a full day game drive.
The crater consists of different habitats – grasslands, swamps, forests, and Lake Makat -a soda lake filled by the Munge River. The diverse habitats attract wildlife to graze, drink and hunt. The rich pastures and permanent water in the crater floor support a population of approximately 30,000 large mammals. The animals can move in and out of the crater, but they hardly do because of the favorable conditions.
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the only places in Tanzania where you can see the endangered black rhino; a small population lives in the protected environment.
Dinner and overnight accommodation in Ngorongoro.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park and arrive around mid-morning. While Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, it supports one of the highest densities of large mammals. The park is famous for tree-climbing lions, large families of elephants, and millions of flamingos.
After a half-day game drive, we will drive you back to Arusha to catch your flight home.
